Hypocrisy

Discuss hypocrisy. Where do we see it in TKAM? Describe an experience where you've witnessed hypocrisy. consider your own principles and discuss one in which you would find it difficult to avoid being hypocritical.

Let's pretend that all of our characters have smart phones and are capturing the trial from their perspective. Start at the beginning of the trial and create about 3 posts per witness.  Include a post reacting to Atticus's closing argument as well.

Perspective

How might not being able to understand someone else’s perspective lead to problems?  What can someone do to try to understand someone who has a perspective different than their own?

Can you describe someone in school or your family that has a different perspective than you? What is their perspective and how is it different from yours? What kind of experiences do you think they have had that would give them this different perspective? How could trying to understand their perspective be helpful?  Make an allusion to the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, a quote or a summary.
